| Nikka Yoichi & Miyagikyo Rum Wood Finish 2017 ~ This is a limited set of Nikka Whisky, contains both single malts from Yoichi and Miyagikyo that has been finished in Caribbean Rum casks and bottled in 2017. Only 3500 bottles of each single malts were released. Tasting Notes~ ￭ Yoichi While keeping the Yoichi single malt’s original characteristics of pleasant peaty motes, gentle smokiness and briny hints of sea breeze, this expression is sweeter on the palate with a bitter chocolate finish. ￭ Miyagikyo While keeping the Miyagikyo single malt’s original characteristics of fresh fruitiness and a distinctive aroma with strong Sherry cask notes, this expression has caramelized sweetness and pleasant spiciness on the finish. |
