Nose︰All the intensity you expect from Mizunara casks: very high menthol/ camphor with some pineapple, black butter and scented woods. In time there’s dried raspberry and resin. With water some sweet fruits and a touch of coconut. Palate︰Not shy! Sour cherry and a splash of aromatic bitters while the coconut gives a sweet counterpoint. With water there’s a light appealing dustiness. Only with water do you get the full incense smoke effect. Finish︰Long and spicy. |
