Big Peat Hualien Taroko blended by the Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore, Port Ellen and other well-known distillery. At a punchy 40PPM this limited edition bottling exclusively for Taiwan – carries a Big Peaty, phenolic, beachy, oceanic, slightly ashy selection of Malts only from the Island of Islay, from where the Laing Directors hail.
All these lusty and robust Islay Malts are presented together in Big Peat, without chill filtration, for a more old fashioned, traditional approach. You will detect a massive amplification if sweet peat, sooty chimneys, creosoted beach huts and tarry ropes on the nose, palate and finish.
