The history of Tobermory Distillery can be traced back to 1759. It has been owned by a number of owners. Those in charge of the distillery have at times used the name “Tobermory” on a blended whisky, but it starts producing single malt sine the reopen in 1990. This version has a peatiness, albeit light, derived entirely from the water. The barley malt is not peated.
Spirits Shop’ Selection – Tobermory 1994 Sherry Cask features the ukiyoe artist Ogata Gekkō’s “Dragon Rising up to Heaven". Let this whisky to rise you up through the clouds to the top of the mountain. Enjoy the supreme feeling.
