布納哈本的蒸餾廠位於艾雷島最隱密的海灣空地，一百多年前酒廠剛成立，島上的陸運交通不便，酒廠的員工必須依靠海運運送大麥和燃料；但酒廠旁的港口水深不足大船停泊，因此又要靠小船轉運。諸多不便，也阻擋不了布納哈本的決心，生產出細膩且帶有強勁海風味的威士忌。
我們特別以日本近代藝術家九峰滕瑛於 1803 年的「虎」來作為東方命 布納哈本 1989 波本桶的酒標，向堅毅不拔、為生命奮鬥著的人們敬一杯！
The Bunnahabhain distillery lies on the peaceful, sheltered north-eastern coast of Islay, the most southerly of the Hebridean Islands. Built in 1881, when the transportation highly relied on the sea, many distillery staffs and sailors were affected by the shipwrecks in that cove. Although the condition was hard at the time, nothing could stop Bunnahabhain to create the gentle but with strong sea breeze flavor whisky.
Spirits Shop’ Selection specially matched this Bunnahabhain 1989 Bourbon Cask with the contemporary Japanese artist Kiuho Toyei’s “Tiger” in 1803. Drink a toast to those brave stories and to people who are still fighting for their life!
