| This oldest release from silent distillery Littlemill has been aged for four decades in American Oak and First-fill Bourbon barrels before spending three months in Oloroso Serry casks. The Celestial is presented in a stunning display case featuring the star chart of the night the spirit was laid to rest. Each hand-crafted Glencairn Crystal decanter is engraved with its unique bottle number and is supplied with a miniture sized tasting tube of this this 40 year old liquid. With just 250 bottles produced wordlwide this is sure to be in great demand. Tasting Notes~ Nose: Floral burst of honeysuckle and elderflower, before oak, honey, cinnamon and nutmeg. Palate: Opens with mouth-watering fruits, crisp green apple and fresh grapefruit and lime citrus then richer dried fruits of sultana and raisins before vanilla toffee gives sweetness to the mid-palate. Finish: Long with layers of fruit and spice. Green fruits continue into the finish with gooseberry and kiwi before waves of warming cinnamon and clove spice. |
