| Chen Uen, the great comic artist of Taiwan, Asahi Shimbun praised him "a genius who has incomparable achievement in comic for the last twenty years". He is also the very first comic artist who exhibits his works in Taiwan's National Palace Museum. Chen Uen's works are not simply comics, he blends the skills of Chinese landscape painting, watercolor painting, Japanese and American comics together, creating his own grand and magnificent style, bringing out strong tension which is perfect for telling stories. "Chen Uen's Romance of the Three Kingdoms" is the first video game named after its visual artist, its publisher GameArts invited Chen Uen to design characters and scenes in the game. Chen Uen boldly used the skills of oil painting, brush drawing and comics in his works, recreating the grand atmosphere and romance of the Three Kingdoms period. THE WHSIKYFIND obtains the exclusive authorization of "Chen Uen's Romance of the Three Kingdoms" painting album, using these paintings as labels, telling stories by our selected whiskies, in this way we reinterpret and salute Chen Uen's classic works. Zhou Yu (Gongjin) Zhou Yu was born in a noble family, he was expert in music, also good at both pen and sword. He was a famous strategist and politician of Eastern Wu, deeply trusted by his lord Sun Quan and Sun Ce. In the famous Battle of Red Cliff he was the chief commander of Wu, he defeated Cao Cao's great army with only few thousand men, and the result decided the political situation of the three kingdoms. In the picture, Zhou Yu is in full armor, traveling under stars and moon, showing the pride and vigor of great general. This tea-spooned single cask whisky is from a renowned family-owned distillery in Speyside, matured for 30 years in the cask. It's aroma has a wide range of characteristics and brilliant rhythm, just like Zhou Yu playing his qin, showing his charm and carefree. It shows a strong and refined style in the mouth, like Zhou Yu as chief commander, giving orders confidently.
