| ACALLAN 18 years 1984 麥卡倫 18年 1984 莊園圓桶版 稀有典藏 (750ml 43%) 此款為麥卡倫蒸餾廠鼎盛時期相當具代表性的單一純麥酒款之一，麥卡倫堅持強調濃郁酒體的傳統釀製法，以百分百純正雪莉酒桶陳年熟成，和選用一種特殊稀少的大麥品種稱為“Golden Promise” ，而現在已經很少使用，尤其在成本及時間都須加倍投入的情況下，但這也是強調以傳統釀製元素所產出的麥卡倫威士忌，蘊含豐潤乾果風味的主因。 行家報告~ 色澤：琥珀色。 氣味：重雪莉酒，但不是近幾年的風味，濃郁巧克力，回甘，葡萄乾，梅子，乾核果雪莉酒，些許培根及煙燻火腿。 口感：老款雪莉麥卡倫︰棗子，薄荷，巧克力，令人印象深刻的酒體，經典完美且平衡。 尾韻：很長，帶層次，厚重濃郁。 |
| This is a collector's opportunity to secure one of Speyside’s most iconic single malts from the heyday of this distillery: 18 year old Macallan in full-on sherried form. Purists should note - Macallan built its reputation during the early 1980s and ‘90s in large part by emphasising hard line traditional practises - 100% Sherry maturation and a predominant use of a special variety of barley called “Golden Promise”, now rarely used, but traditionally highly prized for its rich, nutty flavour. Macallan last used its original ratio of Golden Promise barley in 1993. The taste of ‘true’ Macallan may not be had for much longer at any price! Tasting note~ Color: Amber Nose: Much more sherry here. It’s also more chocolaty, dry, raisiny, prunes, well, sherry. little bacon and smoked ham. Palate: Typical good. All what you’d expect from an old-style sherried Macallan: the prunes, mintiness, chocolate, impressive body totally classic and perfectly balanced but not entrancing Finish: Very long, coating, almost thick and very ‘Macallan’ |
