| Highland Park St. Magnus 12 years 2nd Edition~ The second bottling in the series celebrates Saint Magnus, one of six canonized Norsemen born in the 11th and 12th centuries when the Orkney Islands belonged to Norway, and was released in September 2010. Distilled in 1998, aged 12 years and is one of 11,994 bottles produced. Tasting Notes~ Nose : Sweet and peat. Big prunes, dates and dried fruit. honey, also some cherry notes. Palate : Wood, spice, the dried fruits. quite spicy, csherry, and smoke , peat. Finish : milk chocolate mixed with cinnamon , wood and some bitter cocoa. |
