| Batch 3 of Arran's 12 year old cask strength is a combination of 5 First-Fill Sherry Butts, 13 Second-Fill Sherry Hogsheads and 31 Bourbon barrels. Spicy with the kick that cask strength whisky gives. Tasting Note~ Nose: A delicate combination of ripe orchard fruits with spiced vanilla. Palate: Balanced and complex, notes of caramelized apples with brown sugar give way to delightful notes of fresh citrus and toasted oak with the addition of a drop of water.
