| GLENDRONACH Batch No.6 Cask Strength Bottling Note~ GlenDronach's six batch of their Cask Strength, with presented at 56.1% ABV. This is comprised of whisky drawn from Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso Sherry casks, then bottled without chill filtration. Gorgeously intense with notes of walnut and coffee cake, gingerbread and ripe plums. Tasting Note~ Color: Golden Mahogany. Nose:Warming , peppery oak combines perfectly with orange chocolate, sugar- coated almonds and ripe figs. Palate:Golden sultanas and yellow plums balanced with a rich barley character. Intriguing hints of dark chocolate appear along with classic dry cedar wood , adding great complexity to the long palate. Finish: A perfect marriage of classic sherry cask influences and fruit laden style. The robust depth and powerful fiish reflects the highland characteristics found within The Glendronach. |
