| A special edition whisky from Ben Nevis in celebration of their 185th year. It is an attempt at recreating the McDonald's Traditional Ben Nevis which was a popular dram in the 1880s. Limited to approximately 700 bottles. No age statement. Tasting Note~ Nose: Lots of dry smoke, lots of honey, rich, marzipan, almonds, camphor. A lovely fiery and youthful dram, and I mean that in the best possible way. Palate: Rich and sweet. Lots of honey here, as well as light smoke and unsalted peanuts. Finish: Ginger and dark chocolate. It becomes more dry towards the end, and the peat smoke lingers, mixing quite nicely with the chocolate notes.
