TTL stands for Taiwan Tobacco & Liquor Corporation. Plum Cask: Cask Type: Finished in a Plum Liqueur Barrel Bottle Number: One of 700 bottles released Cask Num : 11130984 / 11130985 / 40912071    Plum Flavour Barrel Tasting Note~ Single malt whisky, plum liqueur barrel finished, combines woody Floral and citrus elegant flavors with green plum sour hints. As a exclusive whisky, it’s not too sweet or heavy. This has a nice sherry forehead influence, but the character of the distillate hasn’t been overwhelmed by special plum aroma. The character itself could be a bit more stylish. But it’s off to a hell of a start. A fresh and approachable dram. The Taiwanese climate can get a lot done in a few short years. This is particularly delicious neat, as water tends to drown out the lovely baking spices that complement the local plum fruit flavors. I’m glad to see another quality single malt out of Taiwan. And considering the brand is just getting off the ground, I think we’re on the right track. |
