| Tomatin 1988 25 years Batch 1~ A well-aged expansion to Tomatin's core range, the 1988 vintage was an April 2014 addition to the distillery's core range. Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrel and ex-port pipe for more than 25 years. With only 2,500 bottles being made. Top work from the Tomatin distillery in the Highlands. Tasting Note~ Nose: Jammy and sweet up front, hints of strawberries and fresh melon. Ginger and oak warmth. Good hit of sugary vanilla in there too. Palate: Mouth-coating and rich, plenty of cake vanilla and honey. Stone fruit, white pepper and once again the smoke wafts in. Finish : Long and honey'd. Final splash of fresh fruits.
