A complex and balanced dram with great concentration of flavors, it is an outstandingly pure hand – crafted spirit. Nose: Very aromatic, butter caramel and whiffs of wine barrel, cooked strawberries and kirsch. game, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, sour wild cherries. ham, rubber bands, parsley, cardamom, Chocolate sauce, hints of manure. Palate:Powerful, sweet, peppery and chocolaty at the attack, nicely biting. Loads of bitter chocolate, peppered chocolate ,Fruit ganache, marmalade, praline, Japanese grilled tea, orange salad, spicy ,gingery, lots of cloves, dry cardamom. Finish:Long and dry ,bitter chocolate and pepper. Brilliant palate I think, greater than the nose, Well-deserved. |
