Not only has it never appeared at auction since its release in 2005, but it is also the only official age statement 40 year old that Macallan has ever released. With only 450 bottles ever produced - many of which were opened and consumed - this is an extremely scarce opportunity to acquire this rather legendary bottling. Tasting Note~ Color︰Amber with a hint of copper, with orange glow reflections. Nose︰Exotic aroma, Jasmine and sandalwood. Palate︰Massive flavor burst, orange zest, darkest chocolate, cinnamon, with a touch of wood smoke. Finish︰Very long finish with defining dried fruits. |
