a'bunadh在原意為「原始的風貌」，酒廠取名即意寓回歸到19世紀酒廠創始人JamesFleming那時候的製酒風貌，採取不經稀釋也不經冷凝過濾，將最傳統的威士忌呈現給愛好者。在生產a’bundha時，酒廠透過專門的選酒小組,以極嚴格的標準進行選桶，選酒小組每個批次會在Oloroso雪莉桶中進行陳年的原酒中挑出約45~100桶, 然後將這先精心挑選出的原酒經過勾兌後裝瓶上市。當中雖然有年輕的酒款，不過畢竟是少數，一般的平均年齡約在12至15年之間。勾兌完成後以cask strength 的方式進行裝瓶，因為如此嚴格的生產方式使得a'bunadh 有著異於Aberlour其他產品的風格及表現方式。 行家報告~ 色澤：深銅紅 嗅覺：葡萄乾，黑巧克力，黑櫻桃 口感：巧克力，橘子，生薑，深色水果 尾韻：橙油，肉桂，辛辣，檸檬皮 高品質的雪莉單一麥芽威士忌! |

Aberlour's A'Bunadh series has reached its 54th batch! As ever, this excellent Highland single malt has been drawn in Spanish Oloroso Sherry butts and bottled at cask strength - this time weighing in a 60.7% ABV. Stunning stuff. Tasting note~ Color: Impressive deep bronze / burnished copper appearance Nose: Raisins, dark chocolate and a little hint of black cherry. Palate: A barrel full of chocolate oranges, with touches of ginger and more dark fruit. FINISH: A lingering zestiness of orange oil with a spicy kick of cinnamon. Top quality Sherried single malt ! |
