| Singleton 40 years Bottling Note~ The Singleton of Glen Ord has released the Master's Casks Aged 40 Years, the oldest and rarest single malt the distillery has bottled in more than 170 years. The excellence of the whisky lies not just in its age, but also in its marriage of ingredients. American bourbon was aged in European sherry oak casks 40 years ago. Each bottle is housed in an exquisite wooden case which showcases the beauty of the amber liquid. As a nod to the craftsmanship and artistry that goes into each drop, the wooden stopper is crafted from original Glen Ord casks. Only 999 bottles are available worldwide. Tasting Note~ Color: Gold. Nose: Result is a smooth and rich whisky with hints of dried orange peel, figs, hazelnuts and smoky coffee grounds with butter scotch. Palate: Entrance with honey sugar paste with delightful orange, vividly shows black cocoa and truffle, white pepper, smoke and cigar leave, the tail rise with hazelnut mocha deco with fig and citrus peel.
