The whisky has been exclusively matured in first fill American Oak casks accentuating the vanilla, butter scotch and honey notes that American oak typically imparts. "Cellar 13" refers to the distillery's stone warehouse nearest to the sea shore where the casks were matured. Customarily available only as a duty free bottling, we have obtained a small quantity of this unusual ten year old expression.This very highly regarded travel retail only Glenmorangie is now no longer produced, thus it will become a much sought after bottle in the very near future. Glenmorangie's Cellar 13 is very close to the sea thus adding a salty twist to this outstanding malt
Tasting note~
Color: Golden yellow
Nose: Rich honey, vanilla, sweet spice, butter, mocha latte
Palate: Very balance with comfortable latte flavor, gentle swallow can feel slightly warm up around the palate, rich with honey seaweed tropical fruit flavor
Finish: long lasting, reasonable price with this 1LT quantity, but advance quality. Meanwhile this is the extinguishing bottle nowadays that makes it extra must to obligate.
