| Hart Brothers Littlemill 21 years Bottling Note~ A rare bottling of Littlemill single malt Scotch whisky, released for their Private Cellar Edition series. Though the distillery in the Lowlands shut its doors for the last time in 1994 (and much of the buildings subsequently destroyed in a fire in 2004), we can still get a taste of its whisky in these types of releases! Hart Brothers can trace their origins in the licensed trade back to the late 19th century when the family were licensed victualers and publicans in Paisley, the mill town on the outskirts of Glasgow. However, it was not until 1964 that brothers Iain & Donald Hart incorporated the company as Wine & Spirit Wholesalers and Scotch Whisky Blenders.
