The BALVENIE 17 years Peated Cask Old Version 百富 17年 泥煤桶 絕版 (700ml 43%) 2001年時,百富酒廠用重泥煤烘烤的的麥芽蒸餾出一批百富威士忌,在橡木桶中熟成10年,首席調酒師大衛史都華決定將這批重泥煤口味的威士忌裝到其他橡木桶中。而這些裝過十年重泥煤威士忌的橡木桶,首席調酒師大衛史都華決定拿來裝進17年百富威士忌過桶數個月,並融合一部份用全新美國橡木桶過桶的17年百富威士忌,複雜的雙風味桶融合製法,創造出帶著淡淡煙燻泥煤口感的百富17年泥煤桶單一麥芽威士忌。 行家報告~ 色澤: 金色 氣味: 溫和的花香味帶有一絲紫羅蘭與薰衣草香氣。精緻的煙燻味與香草的甜蜜和橡木的辛辣有著完美平衡。 口感: 口感如天鵝絨般甜美而柔細,果香與柑橘香氣佐以美妙釋放的肉桂與肉荳蔻香味,同時帶有微微的蜂蜜後韻,與橡木香氣巧妙平衡。 餘韻: 香甜辛辣並帶一絲煙草味。 |
The BALVENIE 17 years Peated Cask Old Version Bottling Note~ This 17 year old Balvenie has been matured in new American oak barrels and barrels that have previously contained a heavily peated The Balvenie. This complex combination has produced a very balanced and spicy, single malt with discreet smoky notes Tasting Note~ Color: Full gold. Nose: Great! It immediately reminds me of the older version, with this very subtle combination of Balvenie’s usual honey, dried apricots and juicy ripe plums with a dry and even sooty and ashy smokiness, There’s also an earthiness and quite some vanilla, even a little smoked ham. Palate:Imagine some plum eau-de-vie that you’d have put into a smoker oven. Funny (I insist). Quite some toasted bread and even raw coffee beans. Finish: Interesting in-cask vatting. Worked very, very well for a good while but it became a little difficult on the palate. Good whisky nonetheless – and it’s not boring! |
