| The BALVENIE 1401 Batch No.4 Bottling Note~ The Balvenie Tun 1401 was a very popular series for the distillery in Speyside, named after the favourite marrying tun of Malt Master David Stewart (the range has since evolved into the Balvenie Tun 1509). This comes from the fourth batch of Tun 1401, which was a vatting of 7 American oak casks and 3 European oak Sherry casks. Tasting Note~ Color: Gold Amber. Nose: fusion floral, fruity, spicy flavor balance with the rich complex flavor. Mouth: Show rich fruit taste, spicy oak, honey and gentle tannins senses. Sweet vanilla, raisins, apricots. Finish: Finish long and persistent, aroma implies without a break. |
