| Glen Scotia 18 years 格蘭帝 斯高夏 18年 (700ml 46%) Glen Scotia斯高夏成立於1832年，位於蘇格蘭知名的產區Campbeltown坎培爾鎮，過去這個產區曾經是蘇格蘭酒廠密度最高的產區，全盛時期竟然高達二十九間取得授權的合法蘇格蘭單一麥芽酒廠，早期稱該區為"蘇格蘭威士忌之都"。由於供過於求，加上七零~八零年代調和威士忌的需求盛行，酒商為了生產柔順風格的威士忌，皆開始移往Speyside斯佩賽地區興建單一麥芽酒廠，世界經濟大蕭條之後酒廠紛紛關廠，坎培爾鎮也漸漸沒落。目前整個產區僅剩下三間酒廠，一間是知名風雲酒廠Springbank，一間是Kilkerran(Glengyle)，另一間就是Glen Scotia酒廠。酒廠能夠存活到現在，就是因為他們堅持傳統的製程，呈現給世人絕佳風味的威士忌。 Glen Scotia斯高夏酒廠位於金泰爾半島，緊鄰艾雷島，以含有泥煤風味及非泥煤風味為其特色。全系列採非冷凝過濾裝瓶；採用傳統的Pot Still銅製蒸餾器，並陳年於優質波本桶釀造出花果香及高級香料的香氣。 行家報告~ 顏色：金色 氣味：非常性感，層次分明，蛋糕，糕餅，蜂蜜，杏桃乾，果醬，香草 口感：優秀有個性，海苔和蘑菇，青椒，草地氣息，海鹹味，薑末，黑胡椒 尾韻：綿長，海苔和胡椒，一些苦橙，苦橙的尾韻與威士忌酒體結合的非常舒服 |
| Glen Scotia 18 years Bottling Note~ Glen Scotia is one of the finest scotch whisky distilleries in Scotland. We are very proud of the fact that is still maintains much of its original design, including the fermenters, the stillroom and the dunnage warehouse dating from the 1830s. Aged in bourbon casks for 18 years, this is a delicious single malt from the Glen Scotia distillery in Campbeltown, now with new packaging and at the higher bottling strength of 46%abv. Tasting Note~ Color: Gold Nose: Style is much sexier and simply 'nicer'. Many cakes, pastries, light honeys, dried apricots, mirabelle jam... And of course vanilla. Palate:Good. More character, with grassy notes of moss and mushrooms, some green pepper, slightly salty touch, ginger, black pepper. Finish:Quite long, mossy and peppery, with some bitter oranges. Bitter oranges always work in a finish. |
