| GLENDRONACH 1968 44 years Single Cask 格蘭多納 1968 44年 雪莉單桶 (700ml 48.6%) 格蘭多納酒廠日前發行了酒廠目前最高年份的威士忌“Recherché”，來自1968年9月24日入桶的44年高地單一麥芽威士忌。1968年份的威士忌是格蘭多納酒窖裡現存的最古老年份，此次釋出編號第5號的橡木桶，是由酒廠精心挑選出來的Oloroso雪莉桶，全程手工裝瓶，並命名為Recherché，意指「細心的尋找」。 全球限量632瓶的格蘭多納“Recherché”。酒體圓潤帶有豐厚雪莉風格的單一麥芽威士忌，以原酒酒精強度48.6%裝瓶，所有格蘭多納經典的特色都可以在這款酒中覓得，絕對是創始人James “Cobbie” Allardice也會由衷認可的威士忌佳釀。 首席調酒師Billy Walker表示：「來自大麥、水、頂級橡木桶和流逝的時間創造出威士忌的歷史，這款珍稀的“Recherché”代表了格蘭多納酒廠最古老的熟成威士忌無懈可擊的表現 ，也證明了過去與現在酒廠管理人所付出之心力，是超過40年來極致工藝的完美傳承。」 2014年 威士忌聖經 Jim Murrays 評比 97分。 |
| GLENDRONACH 1968 44 years Single Cask Bottling Note~ Recherché is a very special release indeed with 1968 being the year that the oldest maturing casks in the GlenDronach warehouses were laid down. As this bottling's name suggests (recherché being the French for 'sought out'), this cask - an Oloroso Sherry butt - was carefully selected from amongst these extraordinarily aged whiskies for its fruitiness and venerable grace.Just 632 bottles were produced at natural cask strength. This is love. A forty four year old malt and not one atom of over age: truly incredible. A real once in a lifetime treat for most. And a throwback. 97 points - Jim Murrays Whisky Bible 2014 Tasting Note~ Color: Dense antique mahogany with a cherry wood influence. Nose: Lovely balance. Clean, fresh, with remarkable fruitiness. Juicy sweet sultanas, dates and marrons glacés centrally positioned around a bitter chocolate heart. Palate: Initial profile of freshly roasted coffee beans and a treacle tart character. This is succeeded with baked apples smothered with brown sugar. Brilliant structure with no dominant force but with plenty of depth and length. |
