BENRINNES 21 years 班蕊斯 21年 原酒 (700ml 56.9%)~ Benrinnes是在蘇格蘭眾多酒廠之中,獨樹一格做部分三次蒸餾,生產出獨一無二的原酒型態,最早建立在1826年第一代的酒廠,由Peter McKenzie所創立,1834年再由John Innes重建第二代酒廠。1930年DCL的經營權轉移到SMD(Scottish Malt Distillers),SMD也就是現今的UDV,在整個全球市場,是屬於帝亞吉歐(Diageo)旗下。 Benrinnes酒廠的局部3次蒸餾(partial triple distillation):配備六隻蒸餾器的Benrinnes酒廠,一般別人是兩兩成對,它們是三人成行,所以每一隻初餾機(wash still)會配上兩隻再餾機(spirit still),六隻蒸餾器分為兩組來運行。局部三次蒸餾目前全蘇格蘭也只有這家酒廠這麼做!! 這家酒廠的原廠裝瓶酒數量極少,有機會嘗嘗,一定不能錯過。 Benrinnes的商品很少見於市場一般貨架上,這支21年單一麥芽威士忌是在1992年蒸餾於前歐洲橡木酒桶。這款特殊的原酒強度,帝亞吉歐集團全球只發行限量2892瓶。 行家報告~ 色澤:黃褐色帶橘光 氣味:大地氣息,泥土,礦石,燉印度咖哩羊肉,頂級大麥,肉餅,香菜 口感:明顯的葡萄乾,燻烤,糖漿,美式奶糖,煙燻肉香 尾韻:燻肉,厚重有份量,略帶有活潑彈性的酒體 |
BENRINNES 21 years Bottling Note~ Part of Diageo's 2014 Special Releases, this 21 year old Benrinnes single malt was distilled back in 1992 and matured in ex-bodega European oak casks. Bottled at 56.9% ABV with an outturn of 2,892 bottles. Tasting Note~ Color:Yellow Nose: Big, bold and ballsy. Peanuts dipped in a little Marmite, moving into literally all of the Eat Me Dates, Coco Pop cakes and a small book of struck matches. Palate: The entry is just as big as the first whiff, with some darker, slightly burnt dried fruits now. Allspice and chocolate too, still fairly dense and savoury though. Finish: Long, more of the same. Overall: A fairly uncompromising Sherry beast. |
