| CRAIGELLACHIE Aged 17 years 魁列奇 17年 (700ml 46%)~ Craigellachie位於斯貝賽區的中心點，其村莊中有一座由蘇格蘭著名的工程師Thomas Telford建造的橋，這座橋使得Craigellachie一分為二。兩家著名的蒸餾廠就剛好分別位在橋的兩邊。位於斯貝賽東南方的就是Craigellachie，然而西北方的一家就是鼎鼎有名的麥卡倫。 Craigellachie於西元1891年創立至今，一直都是非常低調的蒸餾廠。Craigellachie的酒有著清爽的果香味，一直以來都被用來當作白馬威士忌的基酒。 該蒸餾間保持了傳統的威士忌釀造工藝，包括使用老式蟲管（因盤成螺旋形的銅管而得名）冷卻烈酒。挑戰味覺的 Speyside 威士忌，因未考慮融合半點現代威士忌的流行趨勢，甚至早在1891年就被稱為「老式威士忌」。單一麥芽威士忌愛好者們欣賞CRAIGELLACHIE它富含硫磺味、開胃和口感香醇的特點。 |
| Craigellachie 17 Year Old Bottling Note~ It used to be a rather rare sight to see an official bottling of Craigellachie single malt. Well after years of waiting, in 2014, four turned up all at once! The 17 year old expression really shows off the meatiness of this Speysider's spirit - top stuff. Tasting Note~ Nose: Apple crumble, melon and raisins. Honey'd barley, a little hint of smoke and vanilla ice-cream. Palate: It opens very sweet with pineapple and custard creams, though the meatiness soon shines through. More smoke on the palate than the nose, with a touch of clove and oak. Finish: Waxy and smoky on the finish. |
