Laphroaig 30 Bottling Note~ A recent 30 year old release, this is very well-aged by Laphroaig standards. This is rich and powerful, age has brought balance. This won Gold medals at the International Spirits Challenge and the International Wine and Spirit Competition. Tasting Note~ The nose is rich and pungent with smoke, peat and phenol notes: iodine, tar and bitumen. Some burnt, resinous wood creeps in with hints of fruit and a little sherry. The palate is full and quite sweet. Notes of thick peat with an oiliness. A touch of tarry oak with a little sherry every now and then. Then finish is dry and tarry with peppered spice and oak and a touch of smoke. Awards won recently include (得獎紀錄) :
