身為格蘭父子洋酒公司旗下傳奇酒廠之一的 Ladyburn 雷迪朋單一麥芽威士忌，始初建廠目的為蒸餾麥芽原酒供調和威士忌使用，其營運歷史僅短短從1966年至1975年止，故庫存佳釀非常稀少，也因無法複製的特性在單一純麥威士忌中更具有無可取代的地位。Ladyburn雷迪朋從未推出過商業裝瓶及上市販售，目前僅有兩次非商業銷售裝瓶，在1980年首次問世，而後2000年為慶賀格蘭父子洋酒公司連續3年獲得年度最佳酒廠大獎時再度推出。產量稀少加上不曾對外販售使得Ladyburn雷迪朋酒款如鳳毛麟角般的珍貴，也被譽為「史上最難找的Single Malt威士忌之一」，實為稀有中的稀有。

Ladyburn 1973 Bottling Note~
The Ladyburn distillery was an expansion of the Girvan distillery, itself built in 1963 by William Grant & Sons Ltd. The Ladyburn malt whisky distillery was created in 1966 with the addition of two pot stills. The malt portion of the distillery was closed in 1975 and demolished in 1976. Just 3,000 bottles were released, a 27 year old, single cask edition, distilled in 1973 at the now closed Ladyburn distillery.
